New Head Writer
Well the new year at Cineplex Studios has started off very well, with the contract signing on of Salina Conlan as Head Writer for Cineplex Studios for one year. Salina will also serve as Script Supervisor for all Cineplex Studios productions and has been assigned to write the feature film ‘Legend of the West’, starring Tony & Teresa Swift, with JoAnna Selby.
The Journeys Return?
With season 4 of The Journeys, we saw what we believed was the last of The Journeys. Since then we have developed Season 5 to bridge the gap between the series and Destiny the Motion Picture, which is about to begin filming with Forever Destiny, a 4 part mini web series. But now there has been a sudden popularity and renewed interest in this series as our numbers have shot up. This has prompted us to revisit the possibility of bringing The Journeys back for a 6th season!

Right now we are looking at new story line goes, but it’s impossible and too early to say at the moment what that will be, plus the fact that the actors have been released from their SAG agreements for season 4 of The Journeys. We will need to visit with the cast members to see who would be available and determine if any additional casting would be needed for the new season. There is also the filming schedule we need to take a hard look at to see if we can fit this series into out current production schedule for the year.
