Cineplex Entertainment Inc. Weekly Update

New Ali’i Teaser Release

Cineplex Studios has put out a second 1 minutes teaser trailer to the Ali’i series, starring Tatiana DeKtyar and Holly Anderson.  This new series is a spin off from the Destiny series and focuses on a new race of people who realize in a short time, their real purpose in life…to protect the Journeys.

The two main characters, Tatiana who plays Aliyah and Holly who plays Alisha never thought in their wildest dreams that they would be the descendants of the lost civilization of Atlantis.

The Ali’i must first find any Journeys that are in this reality and keep them out of trouble before trying to integrate them into today’s society.  This proves to be more of a challenge than they first realize as some Journeys don’t even know they are Journeys.  On the other hand other Journeys know exactly who they are and they have their own secret agenda.

The Ali’i must find them and correct any issues before the world discovers who they really are because if news of the Journeys gets out, they will become a hunted people by those that fear them.

The Ali’i photo shoot and teaser production has wrapped and the series will soon go into production.

Cineplex Studios/Entertainment 2013-2014 Announcements

Multiple Announcements

Thank you for checking in with our blog to see what all the excitement is about!

This year is promising to be the best year ever for Cineplex Studios/Entertainment.  Starting with the Journey: Origins web series and then The Journeys, we have built and are the only direct to TV broadcast production/distribution company that has been formed from a simple web series in the country.  This is very good news for our share holders.

Our first announcement is that we have decided to wrap the science fiction series Destiny later this year with 12 complete episodes, Starring JoAnna Selby, Bella Favela & Savannah Ostler.  This has been our best season to date and we are very proud of all the hard work everyone has done on the show.   The Destiny series will run on KVMD TV through the end of August this year.

The Destiny series might return in the future but for the moment we will be focusing on other productions, starting with a new series that will tell the back story of Maxine Cordolla, from the Destiny series, played by Bella Favela.

Bella Favela

Bella Favela

Bella will also serve as the co-producer of the new series (which has yet to be titled).  The new series will be about the life of Maxine Cordolla as a Mexican/American agent before she got involved with the Alignment forces in the Destiny series.

The new series is currently in development and we are looking to start casting in the near future.  The structure of the new show will allow for actors and actresses to be in just a single episode or two as guest stars.  The new series is scheduled for 12 episodes and will go into production later this year or early next year.

More broadcast channels

Cineplex Entertainment will be adding at least one more broadcast channel here in the Los Angeles area this year.  This will allow us to expand our programming to a wider and more divers audience than ever before.  In turn we have opened the doors for sponsorships by doing this.

We are in a really good position with the renewal of the KVMD TV agreement that was just signed by the CEO of Cineplex Entertainment and the General Manager of KVMD TV last week.  KVMD TV broadcast to over 17 million homes in the Los Angeles area.

More info on the new broadcast channel(s) as it becomes available.

Leilani is a contemporary story about a young woman and her discovery of her ancestry and the hula.

The initial run of this series will be 4 episodes of 30 minutes long and will be available for sale online.

Acquisitions

Cineplex Studios/Entertainment has reached an agreement with the creator of Witchy Ways to acquire enough rights to move forward with production under the Cineplex Studios/Entertainment banner.

Roxann Wright
